Beach Art Reviews
This day began with a walk .... led by a special human, Bill .... a walk, a gentle, humble talk and an unfolding at our pace, our delight .... no moment stolen, nothing forced, just being led into the mystery of the sand and sacred geometry
He trusts that you will know
He believes you can ... so you can
He knows ... there is something greater that will lead you on and he stands aside and let's you unravel the mystery

Simply- if we could only have done one thing on our holiday in Cornwall then this would have been it. We were booked in for the afternoon (all depends on the tides after all). It was hammering down all morning, so we headed to Bill’s and enjoyed a cuppa and a good chat as the rain eventually cleared. We looked at some geometric and sacred patterns for ideas for our beach art- check out metatron cubes, seed of life and flower of life for examples. We headed down to the beach armed with rakes, broom handles (possibly) and rope for the epically huge Fibonacci spiral Bill was planning to create. We had the best afternoon, under Bill’s expert guidance, and the satisfaction of running up to the top of the cliffs to see your work unfold was immense. The process of creating the art was incredibly therapeutic and calming. Time absolutely flew by, and there is definitely tons more we want to try with beach art. We will be back next year for sure!
We really enjoyed our day at the beach with Bill, it was such an amazing experience! Bill met us at the Tubestation cafe at Polzeath beach, a pretty lovely surf café offering delicious smoothies, teas, healthy food, homemade cakes...and lots more! It was the perfect place to plan our artwork with Bill. After inspiring us with some of his own incredible designs, we couldn't wait to get started and headed down to the beach to get creative! When we got down to the beach Bill explained the secret golden ratio... he showed us how to use different tools and positioning to make perfect large circles by using just a stick, and how to start building up a design from a collection of circles (it’s quite unbelievable how many shapes/patterns you can make from circles!). We learnt how to create the Yin and Yang symbol, flowers patterns, geometric shapes, and how to get different textures from the tools….the design possibilities are really quite endless. When you look down from the cliff you really see it coming together and inspires you to go that little bit further. Once you start making patterns you really can’t stop.. It was really lovely to meet someone as enthusiastic as Bill with his great passion for geometrics and beach art. Bill has a great (Hidden by Airbnb) page where he has added the works of art for the day (Website hidden by Airbnb) We would love to do it again in the future, we’re already thinking of more designs! A very relaxing and Zen start to our holiday. Bill is an amazing beach artist, we would 100% recommend this experience.
This was a most amazing sand art experience and Bill was a great guide and showed us all the basics to get going. We ended up making some really cool Yin Yang symbols and a massive Flower of Life made with just circles in the sand. It looked really impressive from the cliff and we took heaps of photos later as the tide came in and washed it away. It was a lot easier than I imagined and I would really recommend this art experience to anyone. Thanks so much Bill for a wonderfully meditative and creative experience!
Had a lovely day with William who was wonderful. Deeply informative and passionate. Very inspiring!!
