North Cornwall at War tour

We'll visit the Cornwall at War museum at Davidstow and other sites that have played important roles in North Cornwall at war. From Sir Francis Drake's Bossiney and the cliff castles around Tintagel, to King Arthur's knights at Slaughterbridge. It's all here!

The museum, run by Steve and his team who will greet us, is perhaps the best in the South West and any war buff will love their amazing collections. You'll hear true stories of how Cornwall played a major role in both world wars and continues to be involved in the more recent information and cold wars.

Exclusive access to the Blackhouse airfields communication centre not usually open to the public and a cold war bunker are optional extras that can be built into your war tour depending on how far you want to go.

This is a whole day tour and involves your own transport and some walking. Transport can be arranged should you decide not to use your own car.
